Are you slowly getting fed up with dating? Meeting up for dates, scheduling them, picking restaurants, saving money to pay for dinners, getting all dressed up and so on…. you finally meet your date and find they’re not right for you after the first or second date.
It can get emotionally draining, tiring, frustrating after dating for a while. But don’t worry, dating fatigue happens to most so don’t give up! Take a short break from it and then try these suggestions, to save your self some time and energy in the dating season.
K.I.S.S on your first few dates yes! KEEP IT SIMPLE SAINTS!
Instead of meeting your date for that first date for dinner in a fancy restaurant, make it a coffee shop date or early evening bar for drinks even a stroll in the park. This is more relaxed and it gives you the chance to end the date early if you need to.
Arranging dates to fit around your schedule like after work, lunchtime, meet on your way to run weekend errands etc.. this way you don’t go out of your way for the date which can add to the frustration especially if you turned down a night out with your friends to go on an unsuccessful date.
Suggest to your date things you haven’t done yet and would like to do for example see a certain movie or visit a museum, if you or your date decide not to go any further at least you did something you always wanted to do.
So to help ease the hard work the single season can be, we suggest you K.I.S.S on first few dates. Try these suggestions and use the comments below to let us know how you get on.
So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Galatians 6:9 (NLT)
