Was It All A Waste?

For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. Hebrews 6:10 (KJV)

“I gave him two years of my life and he knew he would never marry me”, “she left me for my best friend”, “she said we grew apart and broke it off”, “he cheated on me”

Whatever the reasons may be breakups can be painful. You have to accept it’s over and move onto the next phase of your life, however the one thing you must NEVER accept are the lies from the devil that you wasted all your time, you won’t find anyone like them again or that there is no one else.

It’s hard to let go because of how much you’ve put into the relationship, the things you did for them, how you were there for him when he lost his job, you supported her financially through college, supported his family through a tough time. This could be months/years of your love, time, support “all gone”, so you think.

But may we gently remind you again that whatever you did, it was a Labour of Love and God will not forget it. It was never a wasted relationship because of the love you sowed you will surely reap your reward.

Be rest assured that if you truly believe God orders your steps, then he will order your steps to the right person and vice versa.
