But by the grace (the unmerited favor and blessing) of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not [found to be] for nothing (fruitless and without effect). 1 Corinthians 15:10
When was the last time you were in a relationship? When is the last time you even went on a date?
It’s so long ago you can’t even remember! While your friends are getting dates, getting on, getting serious, getting married while you’re getting…nothing! looking on and wondering that spirit-killing question “what is wrong with me?”
This question leads you along the path of focusing on your weaknesses instead of focusing on your strengths. As humans we have a tendency to focus on the negative. No one is perfect, we all have good things and bad things about us we’d like to change and it’s a life long process.
It’s time to start asking “what is right with me?“. This is not to say you ignore any weaknesses but know you have them and manage them.
Pull out a sheet of paper now and write down all your strengths, your good points, positive things your loved ones have said like “I’m a great listener, I’m kind, I’m generous, I’m always there for people…“ write them down and put it somewhere where you can see and read it every day and be confident in who God made you to be.
And the right person will come at the right time and will love you just as you are.
